A new court date has been set for an Allen man accused in an August prostitution sting in Emporia.
According to court documents, 33-year-old John Potter posted a $10,000 surety bond. The case has been continued with a new preliminary hearing date now set for Oct. 18 in Lyon County District Court.
Potter was formally charged last month with four counts including distribution of methamphetamine, use of a communications device during a drug transaction, interference with a law enforcement officer and child endangerment.
